Kensington District Bars & Restaurants
Here are some of our favorite spots in Kensington District!
- Green Rock Tavern
2546 E Lehigh Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125
- Green Rock Tavern has made a big impression on our Party Bus Philly customers in the Kensington District part of our service area. This fun American pub has a great neighborhood bar vibe that we think is just perfect for your low key celebrations with your very best friends in the world. They have an absolutely mind blowing selection of drinks in terms of variety, and the fact that they are so affordable at all times is a major perk. They also have happy hour pricing to help you shave even more money off of your bill. Nice! If you're a lover of a really good batch of pierogies, you definitely have to check theirs out! Really good stuff. The burgers are sensational too, definitely not something you should overlook. They allow smoking in their outdoor area and they have televisions inside for your enjoyment. The best nights to check this one out are Fri-Sat-Sun!
- Memphis Taproom
2331 E Cumberland St, Philadelphia, PA 19125
- Memphis Taproom is another local pub that has really captured a lot of Party Bus Philly customers' attention in recent times. Conveniently located for our Kensington District area travelers, it's not just a great place to drink, but also an amazing place to grab a tasty and filling meal. There are a whole lot of unexpected offerings on their menu, like the spaghetti sandwich with lentil meatballs (Can you say "yum?"), the smoked coconut club (island goodness in a sandwich), and the suicide dog (loaded up with sriracha, jalapenos, and suicide rings). Enough said, this is clearly a food aficionado's paradise! The chicken fried chicken is another one of our favorites on this menu, really filling and oh-so-flavorful. Dinner seems to be the prime time to stop in, and the best days to come in are Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Very nice outdoor seating here as well! Highly recommended.
- Cook & Shaker
2301 E Albert St, Philadelphia, PA 19125
- Now, if you are a true lover of comfort food and you're headed out with Party Bus Philly in the Kensington District area, then we would highly suggest that you put Cook & Shaker on your itinerary right now. This comfort food restaurant and cocktail bar is just about as ideal as it could possibly be for your party bus group. The grilled cheese of the day is always a great option, and how about those yummy tater tots and fries? So good. The chickpea salad is a favorite of ours and we can never get enough of the roast pork sandwiches. The buffalo sprouts are amazing too and we can't say enough good things about the oven roasted wings. Of course, there is a full bar at your fingertips, and even happy hour pricing to help you to save further dollars. You're not going to find any outdoor seating here, but the indoor space is cozy enough. TVs for sports too. Always a good time here.
- Hinge Cafe
2652 E Somerset St, Philadelphia, PA 19134
- Hinge Cafe is a wonderful local cafe that specializes (or is best known for!) their mouth watering breakfasts and brunches! If you're lucky enough to be there in the AM hours, definitely opt for that. The bananas foster french toast is clearly the way to go at that time! The salmon eggs benedict is really wonderful too. If you won't be coming through the Kensington District area with Party Bus Philly until the afternoon, you'll be more than pleased with the roasted garlic and spinach ravioli. The monte cristo is always a good choice here, and we love the super spicy burrito! The meatball skillet is too delicious for words. You definitely should note that they're only open from 8am to 3pm each day, so if you're a night owl, this may not be an easy one for you to hit up! But it's worth making the effort. There's even outdoor seating here! No alcohol though. No TV either.
